Jeffrey A. Starnes
Founder & Chairman
Jeffrey Starnes is a United States Army veteran, advocate, and the visionary founder of Veterans of America (VOA) — a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering veterans through education, assistance, and advocacy.
Drawing from years of military service in combat arms and firsthand experience with the challenges faced by America’s returning service members, Jeff established VOA to build a bridge between service and stability. His mission is simple but resolute: to ensure that no veteran faces transition or hardship alone.
Under his leadership, VOA promotes transparency, accountability, and opportunity — guiding veterans toward self-reliance through accessible support systems, policy reform, and community engagement.
Jeff’s career reflects a lifelong commitment to integrity and perseverance. Beyond his service, he is an accomplished scholar pursuing a degree in Law and Philosophy at the University of Arizona, where he studies the intersection of justice, ethics, and governance to further strengthen VOA’s foundation of principled leadership.
Driven by purpose and compassion, Jeff continues to inspire a growing network of veterans, volunteers, and advocates to stand united in service beyond the uniform. His belief is unwavering: “Every veteran deserves the chance to rebuild, to lead, and to live with dignity.”
